Description

Garlic, also known as “Poondu” in Tamil, is a plant from the onion family (Allium sativum). It’s a pungent, flavorful bulb used extensively in cooking and also possesses various health benefits. 

Used as flavouring in a wide variety of dishes like chutneys, rice, curries, sauce or to prepare garlic bread, pasta, etc. Garlic combats sickness, including the common cold and cough. They reduce blood pressure, the risk of heart diseases and kills intestinal worms and harmful bacteria.
